What to Expect
First Baptist Church O'Fallon is filled with people just like you. When you visit you'll find friendly faces, practical, messages and excellent ministries for every member of your family.

If you are visiting for the first time, this is our attempt to answer questions you may have about what to expect.

When are your services?
We offer 4 services each weekend. Our Saturday service meets at 5pm in the youth center. It is a little more casual than our Sunday services, but you will hear the same message as Sunday mornings.

Our three Sunday services are at 8:30, 9:45 and 11am each Sunday. The music and the message are the same at each service.

How do I get there?
We are easy to find! We are located at the intersection of East US Hwy 50 and Seven Hills Road in O'Fallon, Illinois. Click here for a map.

Where do I park?
We have parking spots specially reserved for guests near our main entrance. As you enter our parking lot from US Highway 50, you will see signs directing you to guest parking and the main entrance.

What should I wear?
You'll find some people wear suits or dresses, others are more comfortable in slacks or jeans. Either way is fine with us - we just want you to feel welcome here!

How can I find my way around?
Our Welcome Center located near the main entrance is staffed with friendly volunteers who would be happy to help you! They will welcome you with a smile and are ready to answer questions you may have about our worship services, LIFE Groups (Sunday School), children's programs and other ministries.

What are LIFE Groups?
LIFE Groups are simply small groups of adults (or youth or children) meeting together to study the Bible and fellowship each week. First Baptist O'Fallon is a BIG church, and sometimes the "bigness" can be overwhelming - especially when you are new and trying to find where you fit in. That's where our LIFE Groups come in - they are a great way for you to get connected and meet new people. We have over 50 LIFE Groups to choose from, so if the first group you visit doesn't seem like the place for you, don't give up! Our Welcome Center representatives will be happy to help you find a LIFE Group that is right for you.

What can I expect for my children?
You can expect your children to be well cared for by loving, well-trained teachers committed to excellent teaching. All teachers have completed a thorough screening process which includes a criminal background check.

We strive to maintain a warm, secure environment for all preschool and elementary students. For the security of your child, all parents of preschoolers check in their children at one of our computer kiosks each week and receive a security tag required at pick up. Pagers are also provided for parents of newborns- 2 year olds.

Preschoolers can stay in their classrooms for two hours, allowing you to attend a LIFE Group (Sunday School) and worship service. Elementary students (first - sixth) attend worship with you and attend KidsLife (Sunday School) while you attend a LIFE Group.

You can expect the KidsLife team to care about you and your children!

What do you believe?
We believe that Jesus is the only son of God and trusting him for salvation is the only way to receive eternal life.
