            Let me tell you a little about my hopes and prayers for our new radio ministry
“Encouraging Faith”.  God used a series of events in my life to point out to me the value and 
potential of a media ministry.  Perhaps the culmination of these events was an opportunity to talk
with Charles Stanley, long-time pastor of FBC Atlanta, and the head of “In Touch”.  

            Dr. Stanley has been involved in spreading the gospel message through media for 
decades.  He rarely gets out now and opportunities to talk with him are extremely limited.  But
God allowed me recently to spend a few hours listening to him talk about preaching and the value
of using media to spread the good news.

            Dr. Stanley spoke of how God uses preaching.  He spoke specifically of how God uses the
preaching of Christ through media to impact people who might never attend church otherwise. I
began to see the impact that radio can have for the work of the Kingdom of the Lord.

            I spoke with the people at Bott Radio Network and came to believe they are the ideal fit
for our ministry.  We believe God will use this radio ministry to impact lives for the kingdom.  

            Thank you for your interest in Encouraging Faith.  The most important thing you can do
for the ministry is to pray.  Pray God will use the messages and devotionals to reach people with
the message of redemption.  Pray God will provide the resources and Monthly Ministry Partners
necessary for Encouraging Faith to be effective.  And pray that I will follow the Lord closely and be
faithful in sermon preparation and my personal walk with the Lord.  
           

May the Lord bless us together as we follow his path and proclaim his message!  I am,
